Lodges and hotels with a cost under One thousand and GST grandfathering services have been exempted.

Goods under 5% Tax-

5 percent tax will fascinate items like rusk, paneer, coffee, pizza, coal, vegetable, skimmed milk, fish fillet, tea, cream kerosene, stent, lifeboats, and medicines.

The items which will come in slab of 28 percent tax slab are syrups, chocolates, wafers, chewing gum, pan masala, paint, deodorants, hair shampoo, sunscreen, shaving creams, ceramic tiles, water heaters, dye, dishwasher, weighing machines, ATM vending machines, hair clippers, vacuum cleaners, motorcycles, automobiles and wallpapers.

Services under 28 percent-

Race club battling, Cinema, and 5-starer hotels services will put under the tax of 28 percent slab of GST.

So this is the tax slab fixed on various items by the GST Council of India, which will come into effect in some time.
